bird's eye view of north Sardinia
A bird's eye view of lands towards the airport of Alghero . The fields look like a patched carpet with different shades of green. You can see also some specks of white dots, they are sheep grazing on the fields. The specks of green and yellowish plants, the distinctive mediterranean's vegetation, growing vigorously throughout the whole island. They resemble very much like french knots in stitching. Finally the air lane was flying closer to the ground, houses and the surroundings become much bigger and bigger, in my mind I knew that within minutes I would be back to my home after a few days away from the island...

Exhibition in "Il Buco"
I had so much fun doing these stitching for an exhibition in my friend's gallery. Some of them I had given to friends. I had used both hand stitching combined with machine stitching. Most of them came from the inspirations from common objects that I use at home like my teapot, messages used for Diego and my sons, news that I had read, phrase that had been said to describe President Obama by our premier but by changing the last word which is, in my own opinion, politically correct....

Bye bye...
Finally I have managed to frame all of them and they are ready to leave me to my friend's shop, hopefully they will find the owners who will love them and treasure them as much as I do...bye bye my babies....
Piazza Azzuni--spring flower sales and exhibition
Not long ago Piazza Azzuni was displayed with all kind of lovely flowers and ornamental trees. Stands were selling different varieties of them for homes, gardens or balconies...I wish that the mayor would consider about leaving some of them in the piazza which it would not only add charm to the surrounding but also a very pleasant place to hang out with friends in the evening for a drink or a snack...
